"Rodopa, oh mountain of enchantment,Where past and future quietly meet ..."

(Ivan Vasov)

In the beginning of this week I came back to the place I currently call home, from my home town, my mountain and my people. These travels are the air I need to stop the work rhythm and function in life measurements. Travel in general, and in nature, is my most valuable and effective way for bringing life and stamina back to me, but going home is a different level recharge. And this time it was one of a kind – spent longer than usual time with people I call home, at places I call origins, in a state of mind, I

call The Full Reset. The uniqueness of this time at home came because of something else too. First time I took my knowledge publicly there (in a way) – was so very privileged to talk in front of people from my town on several occasions and on topics I’ve gathered much experience in the last close to 15 years. All those meetings will stay with me for a long time for many reasons, but mostly because it felt I can finally give back to where I come from. Each meeting has memories and experiences of their own, but a couple of them get a different spot, deeper in my heart and my soul, probably because every time I meet kids, all the professionalism in me gets entangled with the parts in me, who speak the mom and child language. To be able to meet those smart, awake, polite, with a sense of humour future adults was more like a gift. And some concern too. Because it seams, that young souls everywhere are growing up in more confusing, demanding, challenging and unfriendly surrounding. More busy parents, more negative individualism kind of culture, more attractions towards harmful behaviours and self-doubt. But also more good individualism, more possibility for being awake for the world outside and inside us, more opportunities to gather knowledge and make informed decisions.

The Rhodopes, my mountains, are described as a hug, a sea, a shelter, a home – and that all, and more they indeed are. The legends amongst trees, caves, lakes and rocks are so alive, that meeting Orpheus or hearing Euridice’s steps on autumn leaves won’t be a surprise at all. And because of all the safe and inviting nature of this place of mine, the inspiration is never far away. This time there as well was the impact of all those precious meeting with people thirsty to know more and be more self-aware, and it all landed me a hand to complete the planning of few more seminars and courses on resilience. Tailoring a few more still, but the first ones are out – yay!

So, if you are reading this, and are curious to have a look, you’ll find them under “courses and seminars”. And there is more to come! I have to admit, I’m very excited about it (probably still under the influence of the mountain air, my mountain air).

Remember to check in with the season this week, and next, and always. Right now in the northern hemisphere autumn is making a colourful glorious show. Dance in the leaves, smell the moss, notice the light – the most special mildness of light as only autumn has it.

"In the Rhodopes, the stones remember. Every tree, every stream is a witness to time itself. There, man is not above nature, but part of it—humble, resilient, and eternal."
